We haven’t made this journey alone and would like to show our appreciation to those people who have made a contribution to the Fairways2play story, however large or small, so we’d like to say thanks to the following people:

Ben Brett – Brand X Creative
For his outstanding creative design and web-building skills. Ben has been a part of our journey from the beginning and has completely understood what we were trying to achieve, so much so, that we have rarely asked him to make any changes to any of his design concepts. Not only has Ben lived and breathed the creation of Fairways2play alongside us; he has also brought many fantastic ideas and committed a huge amount of his personal time to the project. Thanks Ben.

James Hopkinson – Protec Resources
For his clever programming of the Course Explorer. James has also been with us from the start and has kept us focussed on achieving realistic goals rather than running away with our big ideas. Not only has James kept our feet on the ground, he has also ensured that we have only acquired the development tools and time that we really needed, instead of what we thought we needed.

Russell Rayner
For the advice and support from the early days through to the present day. Another one of our guru’s who has been on hand since the concept of Fairways2play was born, Russell has been there every step of the way to offer advice on the world of golf as well as starting a business. Russell is a keen golfer himself and has advised us on the elements of the site that should fit the needs of the golfer. He has also been able to take Jason away for a round or two when he has needed a break from the computer!

Danny Rawlings
For setting up and managing the forum for us. Danny is used to using forums and noticed that we desperately needed some help in that area, so he kindly offered to create and moderate it on our behalf. Phew!

Kayas Fayyez
For creating our digital marketing strategy. Kayas is an expert in SEO and digital marketing and has given up his personal time to provide advice and create a strategy that will promote our business in the months to come.

Carol Goates
For her research and copywriting skills. Carol (mum) is a clever programmer herself and has offered lots of advice and support, as well as helping to research, write about and upload the counties of the UK to the Course Explorer.

Jeanette Sawyer and Lisa Corwin
For their data collection skills. Collecting data on the golf clubs in order to create their profiles, has been one of the most time consuming and intricate jobs, as it requires loads of reading and accurate data capture. Without this information, the Course Explorer wouldn’t exist, so thanks ladies.

Alex Rawlings
For her undying confidence and support. Alex has been an emotional rock throughout our journey and her faith that Fairways2play would succeed has never waivered.

Paul Hudson
For being our most loyal fan. Paul was one of the first members to sign-up to our social network and we quickly got to know him. Not only has Paul paid the site a daily visit, creating lots of activity on the site and encouraging others to join, he has also provided us with lots of advice and support too.

Blossom (the cat)
For reminding us that at least twice a day we have to stop work to feed her!

Connor O’Sullivan
For his patience and maturity. By far the most important thank-you that we need to say is to Connor, who has been a fantastic rock in our journey and has never complained about the amount of time that we have invested in Fairways2play. It may have been the bribes for peace and quiet in return for Playstation games and trainers, but hey, thanks Con, we love you.
