320 yards, Par 4
A drive-able par 4 from the tee for The Ryder Cup players. It is set up to be so. There are some key bunkers on the right side that they will have to carry, if they are to get it to the green which is the smallest on the course. There are two bunkers on the left side of the fairway, which they must play inside, Not sure whether everybody will try to drive this green or try to play it just short and hit sand wedge in. There are certainly a lot of options here.
This short par 4 gives The Ryder Cup players a chance to pick up shots. The intention is to tempt The Ryder Cup’s big hitters to go for the green and the chance of an eagle 2. Some will look to find the fairway with a long iron, leaving a short approach to the green and set up the chance of a birdie.
