431 yards, Par 4
The 3rd is a dogleg right, with an elevated tee shot. Bunkers protect the right side of the fairway. The second shot is slightly uphill. The green is protected in the front by two bunkers. This is a solid par four for the players at The Ryder Cup. The loch on the left was incorporated into the design.
The Ryder Cup players will hit level or just past the bunkers on the right. Hitting the fairway on this dogleg right is the key to getting a good angle into the well protected green.
